GATHER, GO, GIVE, GROW

Children’s Ministry

Faith formation begins with learning Bible stories at home and on Sundays. Our Sunday school is at 10:30 am, It is a multi-age, fun experience of stories, games, and crafts among friends. We welcome children from kindergarten through 5th grade.

GATHER

We gather for worship, Bible study, and fellowship to build strong relationships and bind ourselves in faith to Christ and each other

GO

When we leave St. Luke’s and go out into our neighborhoods, we take the love of Jesus with us to live our vocation in the four estates of family, work, church, and neighborhood.

GIVE

God is the owner of all things and gives us everything we need to live productive lives. He even gives us His Son to save us from death. In response we seek to be as generous as we can toward others.

GROW

As disciples and followers of Jesus we daily nurture a living faith and grow into the people God created us to be.

More About Our Children’s Ministry

Most churches teach children and play with adults. But Jesus played with children and taught adults.

Our process of faith formation for children simply wants to create an exciting and fun environment for children to learn how much God loves them. We think the best way to do that is to teach them Bible stories. From kindergarten through fifth grade we want the children to hear the stories that tell about God’s love for all people and learn to tell the stories in their own words. There is no reason why they can’t have a good time doing it either!
